Contact LedgereeLedgeree uses a Windows agent that connects to Tally Prime over its local XML/HTTP interface. Tally must be running and reachable when vouchers post. A publicly exposed Tally port is not required.
Tally requirements and postingLedgeree connects through Zoho Books OAuth and APIs. No local agent is required. Merchants select the destination organisation and need a Zoho plan with the API capabilities required by their workflow.
Zoho Books requirements and postingLedgeree Books provides a read-only sales daybook, GST-liability views and downloadable sales data for accountant review without Tally or Zoho Books. It is not a complete accounting suite and does not generate or file complete GST returns.
Standalone Ledgeree BooksNo. Ledgeree allocates Shopify payments to configured gateway and COD clearing accounts and compares Shopify-derived accounting with recorded ERP totals. Bank deposits, payment-processor payouts and courier remittance matching are outside that reconciliation scope.
Reconciliation scopeLedgeree distinguishes goods returns, monetary refunds and shipping adjustments. Purchased gift cards use a liability account; gift-card redemption is a payment allocation. The resulting entries depend on the selected accounting mode and mappings.
Worked accounting examplesPublished plans are based on monthly shipment volume. A Shopify order split into two fulfillments counts as two shipments. The pricing page explains plan limits, trial terms and the optional Profitability Tracker add-on.
Plans and shipment countingLedgeree connects to Tally through a local Windows agent without a public Tally port and uses shop-bound OAuth authorization for Zoho Books. Webhook signatures and server-side access checks protect accounting operations. Review the security page for connection, data-access and erasure controls.
Security and data controlsLedgeree uses shipping state and country for GST place of supply. Ordinary consumer accounting does not require the buyer's name, email, phone number or street address. For B2B orders, the buyer's GSTIN and business name are retained where required for GST reporting and party identification. See the privacy policy for the full data categories.
Data collection and the B2B exceptionNo. Routine diagnostic cleanup removes eligible completed queue entries, closed errors and resolved incidents after 30 days, and specified operational audit logs after 90 days. It does not remove your books, mappings or stored reconciliation results. Uninstall, cancellation and valid deletion requests follow the separate lifecycle described in the privacy policy.
Retention and deletion policyYou get a warning at 80% of your shipment allowance, and posting continues up to 120%, giving you 20% headroom. Above 120%, posting pauses. Choose a higher-capacity plan that covers your usage to resume; falling usage or a new billing cycle does not release this pause. New orders continue to be captured for the first 60 days of the pause.
