Uninstall and disconnect

What stops, what stays in your books, and how to come back later without duplicate entries.

What happens when you uninstall

  • Posting stops immediately. Nothing further is sent to Tally or Zoho Books.
  • Your Shopify session credentials are deleted.
  • Billing stops. Uninstalling cancels the subscription, as does cancelling from the Billing screen inside the app.
  • Shopify then sends its standard data-erasure request for the shop, and Ledgeree deletes the shop record in response.

What stays

  • Vouchers, invoices and credit notes already posted remain in Tally or Zoho Books. Ledgeree cannot unpost them, and removing the app does not remove them.
  • Zoho Books still shows Ledgeree as an authorised app until you revoke it in your Zoho account's connected-apps settings.
  • The Ledgeree Agent keeps running on your Tally PC until you remove it. Uninstall it there once you no longer need the connection.

Disconnecting without uninstalling

  • There is no in-app disconnect button. To stop posting without uninstalling, revoke Ledgeree on the ERP side (Zoho) or stop the agent (Tally), or write to support@ledgeree.com and we will pause the shop.
  • To remove Zoho access, revoke Ledgeree in your Zoho account so the credential is invalidated at the source. Reconnecting later is one click from Settings > Connection.
  • To remove the Ledgeree Agent, uninstall it on the Tally PC from Windows Settings > Apps > Ledgeree Agent, or use Uninstall Ledgeree Agent in the Start menu. It also removes the agent startup task.

Reinstalling

  • Reinstalling starts the setup wizard again. Mappings may need to be re-entered.
  • Set the accounting start date to the day after your last posted voucher. Orders before that date are already in your books, and an earlier date could post them twice.
  • Historical backfill is limited to the last 60 days, so a long gap cannot be refilled. Email support@ledgeree.com before reinstalling after a long break.
  • A new install starts its own trial period only if Shopify allows one for the shop. Billing is decided by Shopify, not by us.
